Video: Voices Of The Forest

Video | October 11, 2012

Greenpeace Africa has released a brand new song entitled "Voix de la Forêt" (The Voices of the Forest), which is performed by 11 internationally-acclaimed singers from the Congo Basin countries, in a bid to highlight the importance of the world's second largest rainforest, which is under increasing threat from foreign exploitation.

This song is a reminder of how our life is intimately linked to the forest. It is the earth's lung, which purifies the air we breathe, and the food, water and natural medicines we use. The diversity of life on the planet, and the future of our climate all depend on the forests of the world.
