Radiation Measurement at Castor Dahlenburg

A local elderly couple who live near Dahlenburg station asked Greenpeace nuclear experts  to carry out radiation readings for fear of the Castor standing just 10 meters from the their house.

The levels of radiation detected were high enough that even the police decided to move their own people back from the CASTOR convoy.

The nuclear transport is bound for intermediate nuclear waste storage camp in Gorleben, Germany.
