Our Core Values

In developing our campaign strategies and policies we take great care to reflect our fundamental respect for democratic principles and seek solutions that will promote global social equity.

Greenpeace's cornerstone principles and core values are reflected in all our environmental campaign work, worldwide. These are:

  • We 'bear witness' to environmental destruction in a peaceful, non-violent manner;
  • We use non-violent confrontation to raise the level and quality of public debate;
  • In exposing threats to the environment and finding solutions we have no permanent allies or adversaries;
  • We ensure our financial independence from political or commercial interests;
  • We seek solutions for, and promote open, informed debate about society's environmental choices.

In developing our campaign strategies and policies we take great care to reflect our fundamental respect for democratic principles and to seek solutions that will promote global social equity.

I am from Tunisia too and I would love to see Greenpeace Tunisia exist as we have a major role to play for the protection of the environment in the Mediterranean region and in Africa as a whole.

Hello Greenpeace,
I'm from Egypt, with the changes Egypt is going through at the moment I believe Egypt is ready to have you here with us to save the Nile, the river is being treated very bad by factories and people, we need you to start raising the knowledge of the impotance of keeping our country clean.

i am very passionate when it comes to protecting our planet. i have been watching many shows on how some people are abusing what was never theirs to start with and it frustrates me because i want to make a change. i read the requirements one needs in order to be a vouleteer and i honestly dont think i am up to standards with any of those except for being energetic and passionate. i am also only almost 17, i would like to know if there is any other ways i can get involved, cosidering my circumstances?
