Greenpeace Africa’s Internship Programme seeks to contribute to building the generations of environmentally conscious youths.

What will you gain?

Among many of the benefits of working in one of  the world’s largest environmental non-profits, interns at Greenpeace Africa will:

  • Gain professional work experience in their fields

  • Learn how to analyse environmental problems, push for smart solutions, and build the public support it takes to win

  • Attend briefings and trainings to learn even more about environmental issues and gain organising skills

Eligibility

The Greenpeace Africa internship programmes will be open to all above the age of 18 who demonstrate environmental consciousness and have exemplified this in their communities, studies or careers. Each internship position will specify required skills and criteria in the intern profiles. Applicants must hold the right to work in the country where the position is based.

Intake

The internship programmes will run in 2 periods: January 1-June 30 (recruitment in Oct/Nov) and July 1-December 31 (recruitment in May/June). All intern contracts are for 6 months and non-renewable. Internship placement will be considered in all 5 Greenpeace Offices across the continent.
