In January it emerged that Eskom had allegedly been spying on unions, communities, and environmental organisations, Earthlife Africa, GroundWork, and Greenpeace Africa.
We then demanded a full disclosure of Eskom’s spy activities and a public apology.
Eskom said it would launch an investigation into the matter, and get back to us within a month.
One month later, we’ve heard nothing. Eskom’s time is up and we want answers.
Send an email to Eskom’s CEO. Tell him there’s no place for spying in South Africa’s democracy, that corporate bullying is unethical and unacceptable. They must release their findings immediately and take responsibility for their actions.
