Join our Volunteer Activities!

As a volunteer, you'll help to drive change online and in your local community, get hands-on experience in our campaigns, and help us raise vital funds for a greener, more peaceful future.

We need passionate, energetic people who are keen to make a difference.

How does it work?

Our volunteer leaders have a hefty line-up of campaign events and activities on their calendars -- but we need you to bring them to life!

Depending on where you live in South Africa, fill out one of the activities forms by clicking the links below. We'll email you when we have something coming up in your area.

If there's no volunteer group in your city yet, don't dispare! We are growing and will be near you soon, but in the meantime, sign up to become a digital ninja and put your keyboard to better use.

The help our communities really need

Blog entry by Keanan Reis, Greenpeace Africa volunteer | April 24, 2013

The world often sees government's relationship with Greenpeace Africa as shaky, at best. When Greenpeace isn't chaining themselves to power-station equipment, or dumping coal at Eskom's Megawatt Park, they're being spied on, or being...
