Join our upcoming Arctic 30 Solidarity Vigil in Ottawa and show your love for the Arctic and support for these brave individuals that still need our help.

The Arctic 30 are a courageous group of people who were illegally detained in September in international waters, following a peaceful protest to expose destructive oil drilling in the Arctic. Though they have been released on bail, we can't foget that the Arctic 30 are not yet free and the fragile Arctic is still at risk.  All of the Arctic 30 still face outrageous hooliganism charges in Russia including two Canadians, Paul Ruzycki and Alexandre Paul.  Though the International Tribunal of the Law of the Sea has ruled that they should be able to leave Russia, the Arctic 30 are not allowed to come home.

Outside of the Russian Embassy, we will have a solemn vigil to demand the Arctic 30 be freed.  We will have candles and other materials for you to pay tribute to the courage of the Arctic 30.  Please dress warmly for the weather.
