最新消息：美國時間7月29日凌晨， 26名勇敢的行動成員懸掛在波特蘭市著名的聖約翰大橋（St. John Bridge）上，以阻止蜆殼石油公司(SHELL)的破冰船「芬尼加號 (Fennica)」再度啟航前往北極！他們均備有充足的裝備及糧食，預備長期留守。為甚麼？因為阻止SHELL到北極鑽油的每一秒，就代表奧巴馬政府有多一秒時間，考慮撤回SHELL的北極鑽油許可。

SHELL幾乎準備好正式到北極鑽油，但需要這艘破冰船運送一件不可或缺的鑽探設備。但這艘破冰船之前出現損毀，船上有一個大洞！因此緊急送到波特蘭維修，而SHELL亦被迫延遲北極鑽油計劃。如今維修完成，行動成員們第一時間趕到當地，盡最大努力守護北極。
