The Board of Greenpeace India has accepted the resignation of the Executive Director Ravi Chellam, citing personal reasons and his desire to pursue other professional interests, with effect from 1st January 2018.
The Board would like to place on record its appreciation of the role that Ravi has played in the last two years, especially given that he stepped in at a time of severe crisis. The Board is now looking at the transition to a new Executive Director to take place as soon as possible, and will communicate this shortly.
