Greenpeace continued with the work to strengthen the case for the use of decentralised renewable energy in villages in India. Activists visited villages in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh and conducted a social audit on the Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY). They spoke to families and individuals to find out the state of electricity supply in their village. Most of them had not seen electricity in their village.
