On February 20, 2013, Greenpeace activists unfurled a banner, "Say NO to GM, Yes to Food Security" on the Food Corporation of India's godown in Delhi. 12 of them were detained and have been charged with criminal trespass.
Tonnes of food grains in our country rot in badly kept godowns. Instead of fixing this, our government wants to genetically modify our crops.
