12 May 2011 - China. Greenpeace activists set up a gambling table with the message “Nuclear Energy: High Risk, No Gain” at the China Light and Power shareholders meeting at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Greenpeace has condemned the electricity company’s investment in nuclear energy, and is asking CLP to reject the regional government’s plan to increase Hong Kong’s share of nuclear power and to immediately increase its investment in renewable energy.
