Inflatables from the Greenpeace ship MY Esperanza and MY Arctic Sunrise try to hinder the transfer of minke whales by a catcher ship of the Japanese whaling fleet to the Nisshin Maru factory ship. Greenpeace is using every peaceful means available to bring the hunt to an early end and make it the last time the Sanctuary is breached by the whalers.
