Russian Oil Spill Patrol in Komi Republic

10th August. Russia. Activists and volunteers clean up oil spill outside Usinsk in the Komi Republic. An international group of Greenpeace experts and volunteers together with partner organization Save the Pechora Committee patrolled the region of Komi Republic to find and map numerous oil spills, clean up an oil-contaminated area, and collect case studies and experiences from the local population and bear witness to the huge scale of the problem.
