The Masakhane Informal Settlement, on the outskirts of Emalahleni in South Africa. This settlement is situated about 1.5 kilometers from Duvha Coal power station. The community members have no access to electricity and are seen here collecting coal for their household needs, which is donated by the power station. The water they receive from the municipality is minimal, which forces them to use the polluted water found close to the settlement.
