Local farmers, whose water sources are being diverted to the controversial Indiabulls coal powered plant, join the Greenpeace activists in calling for the Maharashtra government to prioritize their access to water. The activists unfuredl a 250-feet banner from the Upper Wardha Dam at Morshi Taluka in Amravati reading: “Water For Farmers Not Power Plants” to highlight the massive diversion of water away from irrigation to water wasting coal fired power plants. 05/22/2013
