Classification as 'red' chemical means that the substance is neither toxic or accumulate in the food chain. Greenpeace criticism is based on the use of these chemicals.

Greenpeace / Jon Burgwald not know much about the chemicals or have neglected important information contrary to their struggle against the big firms.
Once again in Greenlands history GB goes after indigenous peoples of Greenland in GB´s struggle against big companies.

Please stop referring to the melting of the "ice cap"!
An ice cap is an ice mass that covers less than 50,000km² of land area (usually covering a highland area). Masses of ice covering more than 50,000 km² are termed an ice sheet.

The oil companies are looking to drill in the oceans of the Arctic, not on land generally.

Well, to be perfectly honest; No, youre not!
And to elaborate further; The people of the Arctic, have very little interest in youre crusades in their domain. To succesfully accomplish youre goals, you would according to basicly all reknown books about strategies, require a significant support by local populus, which you dont have.
Dont forget that Greenland, Canada/Nunavut have functional Democratically based governments. The concerns i have regarding various companies, are the lack of International standards which stipulates how organizations have to conduct theyre business. In the interest of the Arctic region i would rather then ban drilling, see a set of high reaching standards being implemented, before any drilling licenses are granted.
