Discussing destruction

Feature story - 3 March, 2006
High-seas bottom trawling is destroying deep-sea habitats before we even know about them. For the umpteenth time in the last three years, politicians are meeting to discuss (maybe) doing something about it. While they talk deep-sea destruction is occurring every day on the high seas.

Mollusc at the Davidson Seamount off the coast of California.

Take action

Draw a deep sea creature and add your support for a UN moratorium to halt bottom trawling on the high seas.
