My Prime Minister's latest dismal stance is a "COP-OUT!". If John Key wants to talk about the realities of Copenhagen then the point of the negotiations is to address the real threats of climate change and not just the particular interests of individual countries. I came across the WWF display in one of Copenhagen's squares. A poignant ice sculpture of a sheep. It's a clever thought-provoking piece of art, as we are at once reminded of prehistoric skeletons on display in museums around the world and the present frightening image of climate change. This sheep's fleece is dripping and melting away before my eyes.....it's a bleak image but today John, i'm not laughing it off.

Keep your eyes on this tomorrow, when i'll bring you a picture and news from "FutureCity" - an exhibition initiated by mayors of rich and poor cities showing their plans and existing practices to reduce carbon dioxide emissions - some by over 30% by 2020!
