Urgent action is needed to prevent future ‘Haze Waves. If we don’t do
something now, we know it will come back.
We call on the Indonesian, Singaporean and Malaysian
governments to crack down on companies responsible for the
fires including:
- Concrete solutions coming out of the ASEAN Foreign Affairs Ministers'
Meeting, in Brunei to deal with the causes and impacts of the haze
- Strong national regulations to prevent this disaster happening again
- Ensure that companies are held accountable, regardless of their home base
