Hundreds of Batang residents, together with representatives from Greenpeace, YLBHI (Indonesia Legal Aid Foundation) and Kiara protest with banners and balloons reading: "Food not Coal, No to Batang Coal Power Plant" outside the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs office in Jakarta. They are protesting against a proposed coal power plant to be operated by PT. Bhimasena Power Indonesia (PT. BPI). The group demand that Minister Chairul Tanjung end plans for the coal fired power plant project.
