Activists from the Khmer Youth Association, the People Center for Development and Peace and Greenpeace chanted prayers in a shrine near the Royal Palace. They also display a banner that reads “Environmental Rights = Human Rights.” in the eve of the opening of the 21st Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.The activists are urging their leaders to protect the rights of the people and the environment as the region pursues a single economic community in an era of runaway climate change.
