Greenpeace is installing a 1 kilowatt solar-wind hybrid energy system at Mansinam Island in Manokwari Regency, also known as the ‘Bible City,’ to mark Papua’s Gospel Landing Day, and is calling upon Indonesian government to fast track development of the renewable energy industry to meet the country’s growing electricity demands.
