Angela graduated from Flinders University in South Australia with degrees and postgraduate diplomas in economics, accounting and psychology.
She gained extensive experience in senior financial control and management positions in the government and corporate sector in both Australia and the UK.
Angela has worked collaboratively with Australian businesses, helping their management teams establish effective systems and processes for business and financial management and planning. She has devised training programs to enhance the preparation and use of management information reports in corporate decision-making.
Over the last 20 years, Angela has become recognised for her ability and expertise in establishing solid financial and administrative foundations, organising mayhem, being a fun team player and an inspiring mentor. Angela’s core focus is always on practical solutions that ensure delivery of identified goals.
A love of nature and travel, coupled with five years backpacking in exotic locations, has given Angela a strong commitment to the earth and preservation of all its inhabitants.
Angela joined the Greenpeace General Assembly at the 2001 AGM and was voted on to the board, two years later, at the 2003 AGM.
Because of her expertise in financial management, Angela has been a member of the Finance and Audit Committee since 2003 and is currently the deputy Chair. Angela also holds the General Assembly portfolio and is responsible for communication and recruitment of General Assembly members.
