Annual Review 2008

Report - 31 December, 2008
In 2008, the Esperanza travelled up Australia's east coast to promote its Energy [R]evolution report, which showed how Australia could make a transition to renewable energy. The ship then travelled to Papua New Guinea, to document the extent of illegal logging in the region and highlight the contribution logging makes to climate change. We also launched the award-winning Origami whales online petition, a new Truefood Guide and continued to put pressure on the federal government to quit its addiction to coal.
