Kumi Naidoo Meets the Indonesian President

Kumi Naidoo, Executive Director of Greenpeace International shows the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono a copy of the 'Forest Planet' book, during his visit at the Presidential Palace. Greenpeace express their support for the President's commitment to cutting Indonesia's greenhouse gas emissions by 26%, while increasing the countryís economy by 7% annually. Greenpeace also supports the existing forest moratorium and called on the President to extend it, to ensure that it delivers on its intention of protecting Indonesia's forests and the people who depend on it for their survival.06/07/2012
