Greenpeace activists in front of Stadhuis van Antwerpen (Antwerp City Hall) take part in a global day of action. They hang a banner which reads "Fukushima aan de Stroom?" and "Fukushima: Het Kan Ook Hier Gebeuren," which express the risk that nuclear accidents can occur in Belgium as well. Activists in 19 countries protest against nuclear power in advance of the March 11 memorial for the Fukushima Daiichi disaster. They are calling on the government to phase out nuclear energy and replace it with energy conservation and renewable energy.03/05/2012
