Airship over Open Pit Mining in Germany

The Greenpeace airship, A.E. Bates flies over the open pit mining area of Welzow-South I in Brandenburg. The Social Democratic Party (SPD) together with the Brandenburg Minister President Matthias Platzeck, supports the plans of Vattenfall (a Swedish Electric utility company) to open five new brown coal open mines.
