The Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant

Photo | 3 October, 2012

The project restarted in the 1990s and the first two towers (2 x 470MW) were finished and brought on-line in 1998 and 1999. The next two towers are currently under construction (planned to be brought into operation in 2013/2014) but are facing a delay. The Slovak government insists in pursuing this project despite old technology and several security concerns.09/05/2012
