Greenpeace activists dressed up as GMO monster crops together with petitioners from different organizations and local government units march to the Supreme Court to file a petition that will put a halt on Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) field trials in the Philippines. The petition seeks a temporary environmental protection order (TEPO) against the multi-location field trials of the Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) talong. Greenpeace is campaigning for GMO-free food production based on the principles of sustainability, protection of biodiversity and providing all people to have access to safe and nutritious food.04/26/2012
