The Rainbow Warrior II Retires

Volunteers paint over the Greenpeace emblem, on the hull of the organization's flagship, the Rainbow Warrior II. At a ceremony in Singapore on 16 August 2011 ownership of the iconic protest vessel the Rainbow Warrior II is transferred to Friendship, a Bangladesh based NGO which will refit the Rainbow Warrior for use as a hospital ship. 08/12/2011
