"Detox" Action in Buenos Aires

Greenpeace activists display a banner with the message "The Detox Challenge" and logos of the sports wear giants Nike and Adidas on a football pitch by the Riachuelo River, the action is to demand the two brands to detoxify their production process and champion a toxic-free future. The action takes place after the launch of the Greenpeace report “Dirty Laundry”, profiling the problem of toxic water pollution that results from the release of hazardous chemicals by the textile industry in China. 07/14/2011
