Bushfire Aftermath in Australia

The carcass of livestock after a bushfire passed through the locality of Yass in the states south west. The fires went through the region 72 hours earlier and resulted in the mass loss of livestock, up to 10,000 sheep were killed. The 2013 bushfire season in Australia has been marked by a new colour on the official temperature charts - purple representing 50+ degrees Celsius - and a new fire danger rating, 'Catastrophic'.
