Rainforest Clearance in Sumatra

Recent rainforest clearance by PT Artelindo Wiratama for pulpwood plantation establishment within the Bukit Tigapuluh Forest Landscape. The landscape is vital habitat for several critically-endangered species including the Sumatran tiger. The Sinar Mas group affiliated concession is a supplier of pulpwood to Asia Pulp and Paper (APP).
