Melbourne open day

Melbourne, 16th March 2013. Community rallies around the Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior to show support for the 'Save the Reef: Stop Export Coal' campaign at an open-boat day. The current expansion of Australia's coal industry will see a massive increase of industrial development along the Queensland coast, increased shipping and a major acceleration of Australia's overall CO2 emissions, all contributing to a planet already showing the effects of climate change. The six week tour will see the Rainbow Warrior travel up the east coast of Australia to raise awareness and support for the campaign. © Greenpeace/Rodney Dekker.
