Sydney
HR Assistant
1 day a week, minimum 3 month commitment. Hours per week may decrease over time.
Tasks
- Assist the HR Officer with recruitment tasks.
- Administering the recruitment email account including checking whether job applicants have the right to work in Australia, forwarding applications to interview panel members, and replying to unsuccessful applicants.
Skills/Experience
- Good communication skills including excellent written English.
- Comfortable using email software and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to Greenpeace and its core values.
Sydney Warehouse
Warehouse Admin Assistant
1 day per week, minimum 6 month commitment
Tasks
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with administration tasks.
- General administration including accounts payable, filing, petty cash, making phone calls.
Skills/Experience
- Excellent organisation and computer skills.
- Good problem solving skills and ability to use initiative.
- Previous experience in administration with a friendly and confident phone manner.
- Commitment to Greenpeace and its core values.
Warehouse Volunteer
1 day a week, minimum 6 month commitment
Tasks
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with general maintenance tasks.
- Warehouse equipment management and upkeep, stock-taking, painting. This role requires manual handling.
Skills/Experience
- Willingness to do hands-on, practical work.
- Good organisation and time management skills, with the ability to operate in a safe and logical manner.
- Commitment to Greenpeace and its core values.
- A current forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
