Fundraising Volunteer - Assistant to the Head of Fundraising

We are currently seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist the Head of Advancement. This is a rare opportunity for a retired business person or a young person to work with a highly experienced and successful leader and contribute to an organisation that is actively defending the environment from destruction. We highly value and support our generous volunteers and the effort that they make for our cause.

Role title: Fundraising Volunteer - Assistant to the Head of Fundraising 

Reporting to: Head of Advancement (Fundraising)

Location: Sydney

Commitment: 2 days per week, for 6 months (with option to continue)

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage the Head of Advancement Calendar and meeting schedule.
  • Help with monthly expense claims and Fundraising credit card reconciliation.
  • Hand written notes to supporters as directed by Head of Advancement.
  • Support in collating and recording fundraising metrics, updating spreadsheets.
  • Assistance with any other fundraising projects as requested by the Head of Advancement.
