Have fun, get fit and support the Clean Energy Revolution! Join the Greenpeace Running on Renewables team in your city's major fun run. As a sponsored runner or walker for Greenpeace, you'll raise much-needed funds and could win a cool prize.

So spend a fun Sunday with our team in your city's fun run to support a green and peaceful future. The dates are:

18 June: The Age Run to the G, Melbourne
6 August: Bridge to Brisbane
13 August: Sydney Sun Herald City to Surf
27 August: Perth Channel 9 City to Surf
17 September: Adelaide Sunday Mail City to Bay Fun Run
17 September: Canberra Times Fun Family Run
17 September: Blackmores Sydney Marathon Festival
(Please note: The Newcastle Herald Foreshore Run has been cancelled)

When you register as a Greenpeace sponsored runner, you'll receive a Running on Renewables Sponsor pack, including:

• Fundraising tips
• Training advice and preparation tips
• A deliciously healthy runner's recipe
• Official sponsorship forms
• The chance to win stacks of cool Greenpeace prizes

The more money you raise for Greenpeace, the better the prize!
Raise $100 and win: a Greenpeace mug
Raise $250 and win: an organic Greenpeace T-shirt
Raise $500 and win: a Greenpeace prize pack including a T-shirt, mug, CD and other cool gear
Raise $1000 and win: an exclusive framed picture of the Greenpeace flagship, Rainbow Warrior

How to register

To register as a Greenpeace sponsored runner or get more information, choose one of the following three options:

• Email your contact details to events@au.greenpeace.org, or,
• Download the fun run registration form and mail it to Greenpeace at GPO Box 3307, Sydney, NSW 2001 or fax (02) 9261 4588, or,
• Call 1800 815 151 and ask for a Running on Renewables Sponsor pack.

Once you've joined the Greenpeace fun run team, you need to:

• register to get a race number with the fun run organisers in your city
• start collecting sponsors
• ask others to join your team
• run (or walk) for it!
