About Greenpeace

Greenpeace is an independent organisation campaigning to ensure a peaceful and sustainable world for future generations. Established in 1971, we now have a presence in more than 40 countries and around 2.8 million supporters. Greenpeace Australia was founded in 1977 and joined with the Pacific region in 1998. Today, Greenpeace Australia Pacific has over 100,000 supporters.
