Politics is the distribution of power and resources but, unfortunately, often the race to get power and resources is at the expense of the environment and the welfare of future generations.

Decisions affecting the environment are made at all levels of government, federal, state and local, and Greenpeace Australia Pacific works across all these levels. We also work with Pacific Island governments and Pacific regional and intergovernmental bodies.
