Nuclear power is expensive

Nuclear power is fundamentally incompatible with the development of a clean energy future – with safe and effective ways to reduce carbon emissions.

Even though the costs and financial risks alone rule out nuclear power, there are other problems, including continuing production of nuclear waste, increased risks from terrorism and nuclear weapons proliferation.
