The US is adopting an increasingly aggressive nuclear doctrine that is in danger of inflaming the growing number of potential flash points throughout Asia and the Middle East.

Nuclear weapons states have failed to meet conditions of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). There are still an estimated 30,000 nuclear weapons stockpiled around the world as these countries ignore their obligations to disarm.
