2005 was a great example of how Greenpeace uses innovation and creative solutions to tackle the big issues like climate change, saving the paradise forests of PNG, and protecting our oceans.

Peace and persuasion were strong Greenpeace themes throughout 2004. We campaigned to protect Pacific coastal communities from overfishing, developed ecoforestry programs for Pacific based landowners, put the climate change issue on the regional radar and reconfirmed our mission of peace.
