In February 2007, Monsanto initiated a law suit against Moe Parr. The biotech company claimed that Moe had encouraged farmers of genetically engineered (GE) soybean to save their seed.

Moe is one of many farmers in North America who've faced coercion from Monsanto through legal and economic intimidation.

Along with Canadian farmer Ross Murray, Moe travelled across Australia in February 2009 to speak with Australian farmers about his experiences with GE crops.

You can support Australian farmers who don't want to grow GE crops by asking your state government to:
(1) stay/go GE-free
(2) introduce strict liability laws that puts the responsibility for contamination onto the GE seed companies.
