In Indonesia, peatland forests are logged, drained and burned to make way for palm oil plantations. These peatlands (sometimes 12 metres deep) store huge amounts of carbon which is released, like a carbon bomb, when they are cleared and burned. This video explains who uses the palm oil and how their destruction is cooking the planet.
