Greenpeace produced this TV commercial in collaboration with creative agency DRAFT FCB Sydney.
The commercial highlights the threats of illegal and destructive
logging, which is destroying the ancient Paradise Forests across South
East Asia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
The commercial urges Australian consumers to purchase FSC-certified timber. When it aired in Papua New Guinea, it received an extremely positive reception from the community and traditional landowners, whose lands are threatened by illegal and destructive logging. Greenpeace is working with forest communities to help them reclaim their land and forge ecologically sustainable solutions.
