Greenpeace local groups are our volunteer teams on the ground. These dedicated activists work in your local area, forcing environmental solutions and winning campaigns.

Greenpeace depends on local groups to bring global campaigns to life around Australia and in the Pacific. Local groups help win campaigns with consumer activism, letter-writing, lobbying, local research and non-violent direct actions.

Local groups meet regularly to share campaign updates, plan activities and undergo activist training.
