This week US Energy Secretary Steven Chu told a gathering that included premiers from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba that the entire world must do more to address climate change.  He referred to impacts the world is feeling right now, such as the destruction of of over 40% of British Columbia's pine forest from the proliferation of pine beetles.  He focused solutions on energy efficiency - working to make today's technology more efficient.
