Learn from the masters of the high jinks and hoax — the Yes Men!
The Yes Men themselves are hosting a how-to clinic in Toronto this week to teach their brand of activism for social justice: high-profile spoofs that have solidified them as the world’s most prominent impersonators of corporate criminals.
Clinic host, Yes Man Andy Bichlbaum, will explore the tactics and strategies behind some of the Yes Men's greatest triumphs — their legendary “identity corrections” of Dow, Enbridge, HUD, Exxon, and WTO; their brilliant punking of Environment Minister Jim Prentice in Copenhagen; and their recent hijinks during this month's federal election.

OCADU Auditorium, 100 McCaul St.
Who are the Yes Men? The genderless Yes Men are a fearless collective of digital artists and activists, determined to culturejam the global forces of environmental evil.
Brilliantly blending hilarity, surrealism and outrage, their hoaxes, pranks and 'tactical media interventions' the Yes Men have earned international headlines and produced award winning exhibitions and features (including The Yes Men Fix the World, Audience Award at Berlin International Film Festival 2009) and genuine social change.
The event is being hosted by the York University Department of Film, Norman Jewison Series 2010/11 in collaboration with Greenpeace Canada and the Faculty of Art, OCAD University.
