Greenpeace joins 300 traditional Amazon rainforest communities in a flotilla to demand an end to forest destruction in the Verde Para Sempre Extractive Reserve (Forever Green Reserve). During this 'floating general assembly" boats gathered at the Jaraucu River, which is the main channel for the transport of illegal timber out of the reserve, to testify about the lack of governance in the region. Local communities are protesting the sale of illegal farm in the extractive reserve.04/04/2012
